Held at the vibrant Sydney City Park, this event brought together individuals with disabilities, their families, caregivers, and community members for a day filled with fun activities, meaningful interactions, and shared experiences. The meetup aimed to build stronger community ties and promote understanding and inclusion.
Event Highlights:
- Welcome and Introduction: The event kicked off with a warm welcome from our team, followed by an introduction to the day’s activities and the mission of Sydney Disability Support.
- Icebreaker Activities: Fun and interactive icebreaker games helped attendees get to know each other, fostering a sense of camaraderie and connection from the start.
- Inclusive Games and Sports: Adapted sports and games, including wheelchair basketball, boccia, and inclusive relay races, ensured that everyone could participate and enjoy physical activity regardless of their abilities.
